The Foundation for Community Care Services is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization, which started its activity in 1995, in Bucharest, Romania.

The FCCS mission is to increase the quality of integrated social and medical services for the dependent population of the community.

The FCCS’ activity is focused on the following directions:

  • Community care services program: integrated home care, hospital management discharge and home care;

  • Integrated Services For Young Addicted To Drugs;

  • Training and shaping interdisciplinary teams in home care (basic training and continuum education) and in drug addiction post cure treatment;

  • Consultancy and designing the practice guidelines in community care services;

  • Designing the quality standards in community care services and drug addiction;

  • Partnerships with local and central authorities in order to develop community care services;

  • Promotion and advocacy for the development of the community care services at a national level.
